POWAY GYMNASTICS is dedicated to having a safe learning environment for boys and girls of all levels. We feel gymnastics is the basis of all sports. Gymnastics instills self confidence, discipline, strength, flexibility, body awareness, and will help a child later in life in whatever he/she chooses.

  POWAY GYMNASTICS is the best equipped gymnastics facility in San Diego County. We have 15 Balance Beams, 12 Bar stations, 3 Vaulting Stations, a full size Stratum Exercise Floor, a 58 foot Power Tumbling Strip, Tumbling Trampoline, 4 sets of Rings, Parallel Bars, 2 Horizontal Bars, 1 Pommel Horse, and an in ground Training Pit.  We also have a pro-shop where we carry a full line of Grips and Gymnastics/Dance apparel.

SUPERTOT 3 TO 5 YEARS OLD COED - 45 minutes
This class is designed for toddlers to participate in basic gymnastics without their parents, while interacting with other children and an instructor. At this level the students learn educational gymnastics, structure, and discipline. They will develop their gross / fine motor skills, confidence, balance, coordination and social interaction, in a fun filled positive atmosphere.

BEGINNER GIRLS 5 TO 7 YEARS OLD - 1 hour
This class is designed for girls to learn the basic gymnastics elements. They will learn skills on the Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor, which will enable them to move to the next level.

ADVANCED BEGINNER GIRLS 8+ - 1 hour
This class is designed for girls who have mastered the beginner skills or are at least 8 years old. They will learn a combination of the skills learned in the beginner level and a set of progressively harder skills.

INTERMEDIATE GIRLS - 1.5 hours
This class is for girls who have mastered the basic gymnastic skills and are ready to be introduced to advanced level skills.

ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE GIRLS - 1.5 hours
This class is for girls to master the advanced skills. At this level they will learn and master the skills that will enable them to put together routines.

BOYS BEGINNER 5 TO 7 YEARS OLD - 1 hour
This class is designed for boys to learn the basic gymnastics elements. They will learn basic skills on the six Olympic men's events.

BOYS INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED - 1.5 hours
This class is designed for boys who have mastered the beginner skills or are at least 8 years old. At
this level the boys will be instructed on all six Olympic events at their own ability level.

Poway Gymnastics also has competitive teams for boys and girls from Pre-Team through Elite

Poway Gymnastics provides gymnasts with an OLYMPIC QUALITY spring floor! Manufactured by AAI, the new STRATUM floor will give our gymnasts the opportunity to experience the best technology has to offer. Each panel is fabricated using AAI’s special composite material, providing longer life and greater resiliency that conventional spring floors. The new Stratum floor provides 39% higher energy return than a foam floor and a 25% higher return than a conventional spring floor.

The addition of a new computerized scoreboard system from PROSCORE, will enhance home competitions with the latest technology has to offer. Among its many features, the new system will provide judges with individual keypads that show information about each gymnast and allow fast scoring and calculations which will be instantly displayed on large electronic signs. Auto conversion to html format will make it possible to list results quickly in our Meets/Results section.
